There are a few websites I like to consult for my free time.

My favorite is Oregon Live here you can find an update feature of all the events (movie, concerts, theater, restaurants..) in town.

As we are blessed to live in a place where food and wine are of very high quality, one of my favorite entertainment is to visit wine country. For the ones of you that feel the same I recommend to visit the Willamette Valley official website where there is a listing of all the wineries and all the tours available if you prefer not to drive.

The official site of Oregon tourism is Travel Oregon. Here you can find ideas for weekend away from the town, and for outdoor recreation.

If you like shopping Portland offers everything you need except the sales taxes. There are many independent stores in the Pearl District, in nw 23rd street, and in Hawthorn area, but there are few large mall in town such as the Lloyd Center, Washington Square and Bridgeport Village.
